A Bit About Me

Dr. Matthew Prior is an Associate Veterinarian who earned his Bachelor’s degree from Delaware Valley University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. He has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, dental procedures, and chronic case management, and is passionate about providing thorough, compassionate care to both patients and their families.

Dr. Matthew Prior enjoys mentoring and training new team members, fostering a collaborative team environment, and helping support staff grow with confidence. Early in his career, he had the unique opportunity to work briefly in wildlife medicine, including hands-on experience with New Jersey’s native black bear population.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Prior is an avid athlete who competes in functional fitness events such as DEKA, HYROX, and Tribe Fitness Challenge. He enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Stephen, their two children, Colton and Gavin, and their two dogs, Newt and Mason. In his free time, he loves hosting gatherings and game nights, photography, traveling, and making memories at Disney with his family.
