A Bit About Me

Dr. Mooney (featured with her cats Addie and June) is from Deptford New Jersey and loved to watch the show Scooby-Doo growing up. She even asked for a Great Dane as a child and got one for her 5th birthday. His name was Scooby, of course. From that time on she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian.

Dr. Mooney went to Rutgers University for her undergrad and went on to St. George’s University for veterinary school. She completed her clinicals at Auburn University. Dr. Mooney was able to graduate summa cum laude and was a Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Fraternity member. She loves being a veterinarian because it allows her to improve the quality of life of animals, which also helps their owners. “Pets provide so much happiness and companionship and I love to contribute to that.”

Dr. Mooney’s professional interests are dermatology and dentistry. She belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association. In her personal time, she loves reading, hiking, and outdoor activities.

" I had a very positive experience. Dr. Mooney and her staff were great. The double surgery went about as good as it can go. We are expecting to a 2 week recovery, but the dog is already doing much better. The front desk girls were very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all questions immediately and in a friendly manner. I would be happy to come back if I did not live so far away. The parking lot has plenty of parking and is in a great location. I also like how Mooney contacted me twice after the surgery to confirm further instructions and check up on things. A very caring doctor. The only thing that I can think of to improve would be if you had a 24 hour emergency line, however, that might already be true and I just don't know about it. I am a very appreciative customer. "
