Krista grew up in northern and southern Pennsylvania surrounded by animals, both big and small. From a very young age she found her passion was caring for animals which eventually led her to working in the veterinary field full time after a few other career paths in Biology and the human medical field. She started in the veterinary field in 2005 while working on her Veterinary Technician certification in Southern Chester County (Pennsylvania). She joined the Pennsauken Animal Hospital team in 2017 as a senior veterinary technician and became a Hospital Director in 2021.  

She and her husband have 2 amazing pups, Gunner and Beau, who they enjoy spending time outside, down at the shore, or out on water with.
