Helping Paws Project: Caring for a Local Cat Colony
Recently, Helping Paws teamed up with a compassionate community member who found herself overwhelmed by a colony of outdoor cats and kittens. Many of these animals had been abandoned at the end of her street near a wooded area. Out of the kindness of her heart, she took it upon herself to provide them with food, shelter, and love.
With a collaborative effort between Helping Paws of Pennsauken Animal Hospital and the Helping Paws rescue, we were able to step in and support her mission. Together, we spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated, and found loving homes for those in need.

We are especially grateful to our partners at Purina, who generously donated over 20 bags of dry cat and kitten food, along with cases of wet food to help feed the colony.

This project is a perfect example of what can be accomplished when communities come together. We are thankful for our neighbor’s compassion and honored to help make a difference in the lives of these cats and kittens.
