Meet Izzie
On February 14th, 2021, a small 4 pound cat with horrific injuries was
brought to Pennsauken Animal Hospital by our local Animal Control.
Upon further examination, it was revealed that she had been severely
burned. We knew she needed extensive medical intervention and treatment.
What moved us most was how sweet she was despite the enormous pain she was in - purring constantly. We named her Izzie after the first woman to receive a face transplant. We knew she needed a strong name to fit her fighter personality. Fast forward to now in 2023, Izzie is fully recovered and living in a wonderful home. She is continued proof that every pet is truly worth giving a chance to.
