A Bit About Me
Dr. Dorph (featured with her dog Harvey) is from Washington Crossing Pennsylvania. Growing up she participated in 4-H Goat Club and was raised around a large diversity of animals. Between this and her love of science, she was inspired to become a veterinarian.
Dr. Dorph went to undergraduate school at New York University and then went on to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated cum laude. The most satisfying thing about being a veterinarian to her is being able to utilize her knowledge of physiology and anatomy to pinpoint the problems in creatures we can’t talk to.
Her professional interests are surgery, internal medicine, and cardiology. Dr. Dorph is Fear Free Certified and belongs to the Veterinary Business Management Association. In her free time, she enjoys ceramics, gardening, and exploring new places in Philadelphia.
