A Bit About Me

​A lifelong animal lover, Dr Chachkes knew from an early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.

Dr. Chachkes's professional interests include Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with pets and their families and enjoys helping strengthen the human-animal bond through every stage of a pet's life.

Outside of the hospital, she enjoys running, gardening, caring for her chickens, and growing orchids. Her furry and feathered family includes a Bearded Collie named Louie, four cats, two chickens, and a goldfish.
