A Bit About Me

Dr. Delaney Honeyford (featured with client pet Khaos) had a love of animals from a young age. At the University of Maryland, she worked mostly with production animals and developed a deep regard for the human-animal bond. The passion drove her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Initially, in veterinary school, she focused on the interaction of public health and food safety as she went on to earn a Master’s of Public Health concurrently with her veterinary degree.

However, during her clinical year, she fell in love with companion animal medicine due to a desire to serve both animals and their owners. She later graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Honeyford’s professional interests include veterinary dentistry, geriatric care, feline medicine and client communication.

She spends her free time hiking, running, gardening and watching NFL football, because she is a big Eagles fan! She and her husband were recently married and moved back to the local area with their tuxedo cat, Huck.
